What a Relief!

Tai Shan, also known as Butterstick, is familiar to my long-term readers as that panda that I have been gushing about since it was born. You'll be glad to know that instead of being whisked off to China on his second birthday -- July 9 -- China has agreed to let him stay for an additional two years. Good thing too. There would have been an armed insurrection.
